What should a teen think as she goes through her days of torturish school and painfull beatings mentaly? The world sits and dies around her because of the ignorant teachings of people who do not know better!

This is Asria reporting for her first discussion blog! :hops: So heres what i have to say. Please exscuse the crapy spelling.
God and goddesses were made up right? The old aged men and women feared the unknown and so they designed what they thought was right....Does that mean that they are real? If there are gods here than what about the zillions of planets other than ours?
Too me, gods are no more than a spirit given a name. So why all the fuss over wars for a god? or because there religion is different? We are the same yess, yet we all come from different places that house different ways.
Ok, here's my two cents: To me, the God/dess(s) are real. The problem comes when religion begins to dictate that their way is the only way. They get so immersed in dogma (which in IMO, strangles spirituality) they lose sight of the big picture. They fail to realize that most of the world's religions are built on the same concept of sacrfice, death and rebirth. They believe their interpretation is the only "true" one and the rest are doomed. It ends up being a shouting match of, "My god has a bigger dick than your god!"; even between different denominations of the same faith! It's one of the reasons I left christianity. Have a great day.
